Mr. Gulati initiated and contributed substantially to the institutionalization of cluster-based Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise (MSME) policy and implementation framework in India. He also supported similar initiatives in several other developing countries. He coordinated a number of development projects on behalf of United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) for 12 years (1996-2008) for MSME development. He represented UNIDO on several international forums and also successfully organized more than 25 international training programmes on cluster development over his career. Mr. Gulati has authored several books and publications in the area of MSME development. He also steered the setting up of Foundation for MSME Clusters in the year 2005 and nurtured it to become a resilient institution that works with a number of multilateral & bilateral donor institutions besides national ministries & development institutions. Dr. Sarkar is D. Phil in the Economics of Cluster Development. He has 28 years of experience in industrial development, with special reference to MSME. He has extensive hands on experience of over two decades in cluster development and specializes in cluster development and poverty alleviation, sustainable development and innovation. He has authored a number of policy and methodology documents in the area of cluster and value chain development, poverty alleviation and resource based planning. He is also a pioneer trainer in the area of cluster development. He has over 50 publications in MSME cluster economics. Mr. Sharma is a Post Graduate in Geological sciences and Business Management. He has 25 years of experience in SME Development and worked in reputed organizations like National Institute of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NIMSME) and APITCO Limited. His areas of expertise include preparation of Techno Economic Viability Studies and Detailed Project Reports for infrastructure projects, SME Profiles, business plans for individual enterprises, implementation of soft and hard interventions in MSME clusters. His international assignments include countries like Qatar, UAE, South Africa, Montenegro, Palestine, related to training on Cluster Development and preparation of DPRs. <p id=”foo” class=”CIFvi F607M” dir=”auto” data-pm-slice=”1 1 []”>Mr. Pande holds a PG Diploma in Rural Management from IRMA and a Masters in Economics from D.S.B. College, Nainital. With over 23 years of experience in program design, management, and evaluation in the development sector, he has made significant contributions to organizations like CRY, WaterAid, and CNI-SBBS. Over his career, Mr. Pande has dedicated specific periods to child rights, WASH rights, and Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). His strategic impact is evident in the development and implementation of regional/national strategies for WaterAid and CNI-SBSS, aligning numerous interventions with newly developed national strategies. Since 2017, Mr. Pande has led various initiatives, focusing on financial management, organization development, resource generation, and human resource management, including the development of safeguarding policies and workshops on FCRA, Resource Generation Strategies, Business Continuity Planning, Conflict Management, and non-violent communication.</p> Mr. Lahiri has more than 15 years of experience in the area of cluster development with a focus and interest in Social Entrepreneurship and livelihood promotion among unemployed youth, women and household/micro-enterprises. Currently, Mr.Lahiri is involved with Foundation for MSME Clusters (FMC) as DGM. He has experience in conceptualizing and strategizing implementation of various projects in the area of livelihood promotion and employment generation among rural as well as urban poor. He also have experience of networking with various Government Departments like SFURTI supported the scheme of Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Ministry of MSME, SIDBI, multi-donor agencies like KFW, GIZ, UNDP, corporate and PSUs like Citi Foundation, ACC, GAIL, Yes Bank, along with incubation of social venture like SUTRA, a marketing company for artisans’ products. He has also been a trainer on the subject of cluster development methodology and remained associated with few publications on cluster development in India.
